Previously, Grace Institute had visited and helped Haiti and Kenya; together with Quechua Benefit, an organization that is dedicated to providing services to the people of Quechua, we will be extending our hands to Peru!
"Quechua Benefit, expanding on earlier medical mission work, broke ground on Casa Chapi, a sustainable children’s village that will accommodate 100 children from the Colca Valley of Peru. Casa Chapi will provide them a place to live while going to school to learn a trade that will provide a livelihood for themselves and their families. Through the support of Quechua Benefit leadership, we have acquired some wonderful Peruvian finger puppets direct from Peru which we will add to our own alpaca bead creations in an effort to raise funds for this extraordinary project.
