Stories held the imaginations of the cultures of the world,

and for sixteen years, Grace Art Camp has placed story at the heart and inspiration of its curriculum. This year your week at Grace Art Camp provides an opportunity to be immersed in the stories, culture, and art of Peru! Children from ages 4 to 12 may select one week-long session in which to creatively explore new skills and ideas through dance, drama, visual arts, book arts, ceramics, glass, fiber arts and more! Camp hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

All studios are led by professional artists. The camp's supportive, process-oriented environment nurtures creativity and builds community. Throughout the week, everyone is encouraged to put into practice the Grace Art Camp values of being respectful, resourceful, and receptive. Celebrating our sixteenth year, our urban day camp is offering seven weeks of camp with tales from the culturally rich South American country of Peru, with stories from the pre-Columbian era, the Empire of the Inca and newer tales from Peru's natives peoples.

An important word about "waitlists":

Since we expanded to seven weeks four years ago, everyone who has applied in a timely manner has been offered a space in camp. Please remember that until about two weeks before each camp starts, we will do our very best to accommodate everyone who registers. Therefore "waitlists" are only a technical holding step in the registration process! As camp nears, some weeks do get full, and to protect the experience of the campers, we stop placing campers and begin a first-come, first-served waitlaist, while offering other options. If you have specific concers or constraints, pelase email the Camp Registrar at
